The NEMA Research Group grew from the publication planning group of NEMA Research, Inc., a clinical research organization based in Naples, Florida. The clinical research organization had contacts and affiliations around the world and frequently explored topics of interest among peers and scientists. The group meets every two weeks to discuss areas of interest to science, medicine, healthcare, and other related topics and these discussions sometimes give rise to articles on a range of topics from pain management to cardiology to public health and beyond. The success of numerous publications led the group to expand into working with selected young scientists and physicians as well as medical, pharmacy, and science students to help them publish their ideas or be active contributors to peer-reviewed publication.  The goal of the NEMA Research Group is to discuss and publish on ideas changing medicine.

This channel highlights interdisciplinary contributions across clinical medicine, biomedical science, public health, and healthcare innovation, with a focus on emerging ideas that shape the future of medical practice and education.

Only members of the NEMA Research Group or individuals invited to collaborate through its mentorship or affiliation programs are eligible to submit to this channel. Please note that all submissions must adhere to the Cureus editorial guidelines
